Do Not Bake Medicine in a Car

Summer is a great time to travel.

But be sure your medicine travels safely with you. Here's a tip from ambulance workers. Instead of leaving medicines in the ambulance during very hot (and cold) weather, they bring them inside to keep them potent. If you are driving places this summer, it';s not safe to leave medicines in the car, since heat can damage them. Most medicine needs to stay at room temperature or cooler. Pack your medicine in a small bag that you can bring inside.
